Woman, wife, mother, daughter, sister, friend... Just when I thought life could not get any better I heard a knock on my door, it was Cancer.
It changed everything but not for the worse. I choose Life and Hope .
BACK OFF CANCER is what I say!

The week end with my sister was fantastic!
After having brunch with our friend Michael at Cookstop , we headed south and just walked for hours, the weather on Saturday was magical and we just strolled... and I was obsessed with Earrings... of all shapes, colors, materials; cheap, not so cheap. I bought 10 pairs... Chiara told me I needed to get the whole earring thing going with my new look. And I did... it was so much fun to look at so many options... I guess my long hair was "keeping me away" from this whole earring thing....
The rest of the week end was a bit "wet"... so much rain !!! But we can't complain and we enjoyed every minute of it!
I started my shots and so far so good... my hair is really starting to fall but as Alexandra said: I already had a 2 weeks bonus... it should have started to fall 2 weeks ago...

A friend told me that my story has inspired him to "Not sweat the small stuff"... and I like that... so please , go out there.. and enjoy... leave work early and wear something fabulous... EXERCISE.. that is probably the thing that I miss the most... before , the only thing that separated me from a great, sweaty work out , was just laziness.. now.. my body can't do it.. so please ..... do it!
A big kiss

Dear Franny,

Where do I begin? The last time we saw each other was during Angela's baby christening. How much we laughed with you and Brenda in regards to how you were get back home (maybe walking or hitching a ride) after we ended up in the mountains of Westchester! It is one of those moments in life I will remember forever! We laughed so hard it hurt! I wish I could give you a big hug! You are a ray of sunshine for all of us!! You were during our Drake days and now in the face of adversity. You are truly an inspiration to me and I am sure countless others. I know you will beat this cancer!! No one stronger! Just remember the many lives you have touched -- hundreds if not thousands -- I'm sure! There is only one Franny for us and I want you to know that you have our support and love!! Keep us posted or give me a call!

Hi Francesca:
You look great with the short hairdo. When I saw your picture, Britney Spears came to my mind right away -- she looks great with it, and then there're people that you'll see sporting this type of hair style... it's like what is this? This is IN now?

Keep up the positive attitude... You will beat this darn, S.O.B, big C. I know you will... and we will have a big celebration. We will have -- "FRANCESCA WINS" party.

Much love to you and Leonardo, and of course Carsten.

I miss you ---- big hug!!!
