By Wednesday I was beginning to LOOSE IT! One week in the hospital... and no answers yet.
During a visit of a rather new but very dear friend, Sarah, Dr. Ting came in , around 12 noon and gave me the diagnosis. Non-Hadkin's Lymphoma Stage IV.
Looking back , I cannot really tell you what happened in the couple of hours that followed that. Sarah was a great strenght. I talked to Carsten and my family; I wanted to Google it but was afraid at first of what i was going to read .... very surreal!!!!!
By the evening.... my inner strenght had gathered... I had spoken to many people, doctors, friends, family.... and we had a game plan.
FACT: I had Lymphoma
FACT: I am very healthy
FACT: We start chemo immediately
