I can see the Finish Line!!!
What can I say? Today feels really GOOD and I have news to share... I wish I could scream... to everyone who wants to listen.... I never ran a Marathon, and I hope to get to that one day, but I imagine how must a runner feel when he/she reaches mile 26 and to know that you have 0.2 left... I don't underestimate how difficult these 0.2 miles must be but I also imagine that you can taste your accomplishment... This is how I feel! I still have my " 0.2 miles" ... but I can see the finish line....
Last Friday I did a PET scan... this is a test that checks your body for cancer cells.. I also did a CAT scan.. that once checks the size of tumors...
PET scan came NEGATIVE!!!!!!!!! Then I asked : WHAT DOES IT MEAN????? Well.. no more cancer cells.... and the mass has shrunk to 2.5 cm X 4.6 cm ( only 25% of its original size) ...
I will still have to do 2 more chemotherapy sessions to kill anything that may still want to grow and maybe a small amount of radiation directly on the mass. Dr. Goy said that I am 90% done and his words were: You are probably already in remission!!!!! He feels that I could not have responded any better to treatment.
Next 2 chemos 5/25 and 6/9 and then hopefully I AM DONE !!!!!
a Big Kiss to all and although there will be many Thank yous coming your way ... You can already begin to feel my gratitude and love for your support during this difficult journey!!!!

Estou profundamente emocionada e feliz.
